Iqbal Hostel
During, the period of 1913-14, a Muslim hostel was built in the college campus which later became famous as Iqbal Hostel. Currently, it has a very good number of students and all the possible arrangements are made from time to time by the administration for equipping them with the best possible facilities for their easy stay so as to benefit them in securing their future for academic purposes.
At present, Dr. Md. Salim Akhtar, Assistant Professor, Department of Arabic, is the superintendent of the Iqbal Hostel.
Jackson Hostel
Earlier, known as the Minto Muslim Hostel was built in 1906. In 1908, only 23 students lived in this hostel. A library named after the Principal Jackson was established in the Minto Muslim Hostel in 1912. Due to this library, the Minto Muslim Hostel was renamed as the 'Jackson Hostel' in 1929. The hostel's own buildings were expanded between 1916 and 1926 to provide more space for the students. After the Independence of India in 1947, the names of Jackson and Minto hostels were changed to Maurya Mandir and Ashokashram for some time.
Currently, Dr. Prem Shankar Jha, Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics, Patna College, is the superintendent of the Jackson hostel.
Minto Hostel
It is one of the oldest and one of the most popular hostels of the campus. It has given bureaucrats and politicians to the country. The foundation of the Minto Hindu Hostel was laid in 1906. The money for building the hostel was arranged by the most famous and renowned personalities of Bihar.It was built in 1906 with the financial support of Darbhanga Maharaj, Gidhaur Maharaj, Sonvarsha Maharaj, Khaira Naresh, Bettiah Maharani, Dumraon Naresh and Hathua Raja because in this year the Viceroy Lord Minto came to the hostel. The Essay Club of Minto Hindu Hostel was a very famous institution. In 1908, 43 students lived in this hostel. This hostel had its own building in 1916.
Presently, Mr. Avinash Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Patna College, is the superintendent of the Minto hostel.
